  • Keeping accurate accounting of all tax revenues and assessments
  • Collecting all monies
  • Payroll and benefits administration
  • Authorization of all City purchasing functions
The City's financial statements and internal controls are audited each year in accordance with state law. The finance Department produces a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) that adheres to generally accepted accounting principles.

Annual City Budget

The Finance Director is the chief fiscal officer of the City and assists the Mayor and City Council in the preparation of the annual budget and all other financial matters. He acts as financial advisor in connection with municipal affairs.
