Lake Erie Crushers - All Pro Freight Stadium

In 2009, Avon held the Grand Opening of a new baseball park and recreation complex that captured an independent Frontier League team and a YMCA-operated recreation center. All Pro Freight Stadium is a $12 million, city-owned ballpark, and is home to a Frontier League franchise, the Lake Erie Crushers. The stadium’s 3,500-seat capacity overlooks an artificial-turf field stretching 410 feet from home plate to the center-field fence. The Complex is the perfect venue for everything from youth tournaments to trade shows. Congratulations to the Lake Erie Crushers for winning the 2009 Frontier League Championship in their first year as a team in the first year Avon's beautiful, state of the art stadium opened its doors.
