Service Committee
The Service Committee of Council is comprised of Chairman, Ward 1 Councilman, Bryan Jensen and members, Dan Urban, Ward 4 Counciman and Craig Witherspoon, Councilman at Large. This committee meets with officials from the Service, Utilities and Street Departments to help plan, improve and maintain the basic services necessary for the City, including its infrastructure, each critical for the daily operation and management of a municipality. The Service Committee, together with the Administrative Directors of the Service, Utilities, Street and Building Departments is responsible for the quality of this operation now and for future growth of services necessary for the operation of any city, including safe, accessible streets and intersections, drainage, sewers (storm and sanitary), electricity, the safe and practical installation and construction of municipal parks, homes, schools, and any building or structure (incuding their location and position), snow and leaf removal, refuse and recycling removal, etc.
