April/May 2019

Greetings and Happy Spring

If you haven’t stopped into the office area lately, come check out our new makeover. The entire area is freshly painted and bright. In addition to the construction, we retired our older wheelchair van and leased a new wheelchair minivan for the transportation department.

Thank you to all who attended our Soup Throw Down, hosted by St. Mary of the Woods. Congratulations to Kingston of Vermilion for their award winning Chicken Paprikash Soup! A list of all the vendors is inside the newsletter.

As we move into April and May, we have many exciting events, trips and activities planned for you as we jump into Spring and welcome warmer temperatures. Our Spring Lunch and annual meeting will be on May 8th at Ahern’s Party Center in Avon Lake. We’re also hosting some informative health and wellness events on chronic pain, fall prevention, health screenings, a Welcome to Medicare seminar, and cognitive assessments. These events, in addition to our all our trips and regular activities will fill your Spring calendar. Please note we will be closed on Friday, April 12 for Good Friday, and Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

If you are a Veteran and interested in participating in the Memorial Day Parade, please call and let us know.

Be well. Happy Easter. We hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Carm
