[ARCHIVED] Update on 2 missing girls

Autumn Shreve

Avon Police are currently investigating the unknown whereabouts of 2 juvenile females from the Timberlake Townhomes located at 37830 Chester Road. Local FBI and the Avon Police Department are seeking assistance from the public in locating these children.

We know that 12 year old Autumn Shreve was left yesterday to babysit 2 year old Sophia Rogers at 1472 Mulberry Lane. Both girls were last seen going into this residence between 3:30 and 4 PM yesterday, June 6. They were not reported missing until 9:54 PM.

We do know that Autumn has a history of meeting up with males via dating sites in the past and that she has been known to pass herself off as an adult on these sites. She did make an attempt yesterday to do so, but that encounter fell through.

The Avon Police Department has been working with the FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to get information out to the public in hopes that someone has seen them or will recognize them. We ask that if you have information please call Avon Police at 440-934-1234.

The FBI is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the whereabouts of Autumn Shreve and Sophia Rogers.
