Summer Spanish (Entering Grades 1-6)

Spanish 1 is a beginning conversation class in which students will build an immense vocabulary that includes themes such as greetings, counting to 100, food, colors, and much more!  Students will play bingo, eat chips and salsa, and act out ordering at a restaurant in Spanish.  The class concludes with a pinata fiesta and fashion show.

 Who: Students entering Grades 1-6 in the Fall 2023

Where: Avon Community Center 2155 Eaton Dr.

When: June 12-16

Time: 9am-10:30am

Cost: $100 (NR: $115)

Registration closes on 6/8 at 3pm

Spanish 2 students will learn to count to 1,000, learn a great deal of vocabulary including days, months, pronouns, verbs, and conjugating verbs. We will craft maracas, sing songs, and re-create a bull fight.  The class will conclude with a pinata fiesta and chips and salsa.  Spanish I is not required.
