Transportation
The is an unassisted, curb-to-curb service available to Avon residents ages 55+. This service is not meant to supply all of person's transportation needs, it is available to supplement. Transportation destinations consist of medical appointments (first priority), Avon Senior Center activities, grocery stores, pharmacies, banking, library, voting and other personal appointments. We have a 12-mile radius for non-medical transportation and a 23-mile radius for medical transportations. In order to receive rides all participants will need to complete a transportation permission form (see below). This form only needs to be completed one time, unless information needs to be updated.
When the weather is bad, Transportation Services will run only if road conditions are deemed safe.
The program is in operation from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
